Can anyone tell me what the fee is to pass through Wroxham Bridge? Do you pay the pilot? Also I can see where you stop to go through but to come back through again where do you moor. Thank you.

Just to clarify for anyone new reading this. There isn’t a fee to pass through the bridge , just a fee for using the pilot service which is a requirement for hire boats. This doesn’t apply to day boats. No pilots service for private boats. Unlike Potter Karen

I believe the Wroxham pilots have changed their policy re private boats. I know of one private boat that paid £15 last year for the return journey. Also one of the syndicate boats were told earlier this year that they can use the pilot service.

Who employs the Wroxham bridge pilots these days. In turn decides who pays and who does not. Which hire companies are allowed, those who are not. Who owns the bridge? Who decides who may pass under it?

Thank you very much for the information. So £15 is needed because I do intend to come back through again. Thank you for the phone number of the pilot which I will pop in my phone and have handy to ring on our way back.
