On Channel 5 tomorrow night at 7pm, Worlds Most scenic Rivers covers the River Bure from the upper reaches, thru Wroxham and down to the open fenlands.
Worth a watch!

A bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office.

Thanks for the tip.

Will be interesting to see if it was filmed on a Saturday at the height of the season! The scenery could be overshadowed by tacky pirate outfits, bobbing beer cans,  bare bottoms and blow up flamingoes.  Playful Wink

Hehe TT.

I've seen one - neon pink - being pulled behind a hire cruiser. Honestly !

For me a wonderful portrait of life on the Bure. I throughly enjoyed it. Why do so many of you critise and  degenerate the qualities of Broadland. Why do you come here?

It did what it set out to do within a regretably short space of time and it did it well, saw a few friends, bonus, thoroughly enjoyed it. More of the same, please. Perhaps we should arm Michael Portillo with a Victorian Broads holiday guide and let him loose on the Broads!
