Add Breydon and Haven Bridges till mid year maybe, so anyone with a high air-draft boat, wanting to go to sea from the broads is going to find it restricted, even Brundall to Oulton will be a challenge.
Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.
i have read that when work on the bridges starts the line will be closed and the bridges will be in the open position most of the time as for Haven and Breydon they are just a joke
There are discussions going on as to the best time to close the railway to trains as the Norwich to Lowestoft section was closed for weeks in 2019 for re-signalling they had begun to get passengers back when Covid came along were building up again before Christmas 2021 now another closure so afraid of loosing numbers again. Its complicated as Network Rail get their money on phases The government are currently paying running costs of the train companies & receiving the fares plus the new system is coming along in the form of GBR so between the Department for Transport who have been micro managing the train companies for a long time and the Treasury who knows what will shake out when. Brand new Trains and new signalling & a lot of new track need to cover some of the cost soon. So please don't upset the Chancellor. Mutterings for cloud cuckoo land Norwich to London in 90 from some this week don't help ( only possiable with one stop so will never reach London at capacity & pay its way
I am very surprised that during the spend of millions in 2019, upgrading track, signals and trains that it had not become apparent that the replacement bus service was significantly cheaper to operate than the train service.

There are already fast bus services linking Norwich to GY via Acle & Norwich to Lowestoft but buses from in between have to go the long way round due to no bridges across the Yare adding a long time to journeys. Buses into Norwich go to the Bus Station off St Stevens Road so not much use for onward travel by Train. Trains were loading well before Christmas and though they are currently on a Sunday Service M - F. Saturdays are as normal due to staff off sick or isolating
