No one will be made to walk the plank....how disappointing.

Who said the broads are becoming a theme park.

Bit of fun so why not?

I note the following comment in the editorial:
"The Cordon Rouge double decker boat will be transformed into a pirate ship, with a Jolly Roger flag."

No canons, peg-legs, parrots, spliced mainbraces, oooh me hearties, eye patches, floggings or well built Norfolk doxies?

Jolly Roger

Pirate hats and a jolly rodger on the broads, you don't see that very often.
Whatever next, sailors hats?
Smile

Good luck to them if it brings in business.

Cordon Rouge seems to be used only when foot traffic is high - why not use it more frequently? I can assure you drinks WON'T be free!!!

Sounds to me like a good revenue spinner - Lens never short of them!!!!!!

Becomes more like a theme park every day and we cannot even blame the BA for this idea!
What next, remote controlled alligators?
Area of outstanding natural beauty and a peaceful haven for rare flora and fauna, anyone?

Something else over which the Broads No-Authority has, erm, no authority  Tinhat
