Hi all,
Has anyone moored up at Broadland Holiday Village Oulton Broad. I would be grateful for any info regarding moorings, the bar and general facilities. Smile

Kind Regards
Alan...

Hi Alan The bars ok seating outside if you wish they don't have many visitor moorings if they are full you can moor at Yacht station then walk through Evarate park and along footpath to it they do have a restaurant i believe it changed hands some time ago haven't been lately.John

The Marina is run by TingDene and as Annie says has few visitors moorings though I understand there is a planning application in to increase this number. There is a bar which I think does simple bar meals. It’s a bit basic but clean and functional. 10 minutes walk from the yacht Station but only a few minutes walk from The Ivy House Hotel which has a great restaurant

Dave

if it is to be it is up to me.

Thank you John and Dave for the info.
We will be heading for Loddon this morning picking up up Pacific Vista. We will most likely go to Oulton Broad on Sunday and moor outside The Wherry Hotel or at the Yacht Station and take a walk to The Holiday Village. We will probably spend most of the day at the hotel and looking forward to the carvery.
Thanks again. Cheers

Kind Regards
Alan...

Hi Alan Should the Wherry and Yacht station be full the Commodore which is to the left of Wherry has moorings which are free provide you use the pub, with nice outside tiered seating area with its own bar, and if it is sunny the young views are worth viewing if your of a certain age,if you get my drift.
