I was always led to believe this dyke was a public right of way.Does anyone know what the navigation rights are.

Foxy, on a lot of the old maps it shows that there are public moorings at the end of the dyke, but not on the new maps. I moor my boat in the dyka and have for the last 8 years and all that time I have been told by the owners on the moorings that there is no right of way down the dyke, hence the sign at the entrance to the dyke saying private moorings only. At the begining of the yeay my son who kept his boat in the dyke had a warning about not having a river toll on his boat, when the subject of the dyke being private water the Broads Authority said that the chanel down the dyke was under there authority bur the pen moorings were not confusing what!
