I did think it was a shame that they were not on a more authentic boat. That one may have had it's keel laid in 1938 but looks very much like the proverbial axe of two heads and three handles. It did rather point up how much more sympathetic the work that the 'Donny' lot did on Broad ambition was. Why not a Broom's Admiral, one of the original Martham 'woodies'or something like Prunella. In point of Fact a journey on Adrea or Solace would rally been a treat and probably better television.
But only just, I would have thought that here was a wonderful opportunity to point up the difference between The Broads and most of the other waters they have cruised on by spending the whole program on Sailing craft of one type and another, classic and modern
