back, back. Back again, gain, gain. (Apologies to Marshall Mathers).

Yonks after I had to adopt a new guise because I forgot the password of my old one. Then discovered that I could not get a reminder either....

No idea how this happened but logging on as Harlequin my old details as Exile appeared on my screen as an option to log in. So I clicked on them and sure enough it worked. I have used this laptop numerous times before and that has not happened previously. But the details have clearly been remembered somewhere.
The Exile password is in the box but blanked out so I still do not know what it is. But hey it works. Well at least for now.
So which to use henceforth???
Exile? More appropriate than ever as I spend increasing time away from Norfolk.
Harlequin? A name that I have recently become totally at home with. Plus I actually do know the password.

TT. will go Apes**t when he realises that his expensive and time consuming re-branding from Exy to Harlo may have been an unnecessary after all.

Smile

I do brouse the site from time to time and wondered what had happened to you!
I sold my house in Blakeney to a relation after losing my wife to cancer in 2016 and except for the shooting season when I spend 5 months on the farm in East Sussex, I live near Weggis in Switzerland. My Smuggler is in Chichester Yacht Basin and I still have the Eagle 36 on the lake. I also have 4 to 5 weeks in Australia each year. If I don't keep busy I can start to dwell on things.
Nice to see you back, hope you are enjoying life.

PS.
I always go to Oz on A380s, I would love to have been young enough to re-train on those. Now they are talking they may phase out production if an Emirates contract is not forthcomming. The Dreamliner can't hold a candle to the 380 for passenger comfort but the Aero business is about international politics these days, not transportation.

Good to see a post from CaptBrian too.
Very sensible to keep busy and moving forward despite the awful loss of your wife.
Chichester harbour I love. I sailed there a few times back in the eighties. Testing tides if I remember correctly. Never made it to sailing in Switzerland though! I have only ever been skiing there.

I would say 'welcome back', but you haven't really been away, have you.

I suppose you could always combine the two, and become Exequin or Harlequile   Smile

Now there's a thought, Paladine.
Although two more options confuse my little brain even more!

Well what a surprise, at first I was incensed, then I was overtaken by the spirit of goodwill to all men (well 2 bottles of Gin and copious amount of Tonic Water) and recalled my technical elves from their Winter break in Lesser Snoring and set them the task of coming up with a cunning new name that encomposes the nature and body of both your manifestations and after much soul searching and many hours of hard work they have come up with this Gem. From now on you shal go by the name Exharlo.

Thanks will be accepted on the back of a £5o note

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year

I've welcomed him back in another thread anyway,  but I've just realised he will now be able to have an argument with himself if he so wishes ....  LOL

Only  teasing Harlo, not sure what to call you now,  but glad  you found your old self.
