22/10/17. 15:23hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel aground on Breydon Water near post 9. Upon arrival the local tow service had assessed the situation and it was found that the vessel would not come off the mud until high tide. The crew of 3 adults, 2 children and a new born were removed from the vessel by the Gorleston ILB, Arancia and BA, taken to the safety of the yacht station. The vessel is to be recovered at high water later tonight. #107/17

24/10/17. 15:52hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel aground on Breydon Water near post 31. The crew of 4 persons were safely removed from the vessel by the Gorleston ILB. The Gorleston Coastguard team and BA personnel met the persons at the Yarmouth Yacht Station. The persons were then collected by Richardsons transport. #108/17

1/11/17. 12:55hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel broken down on the river Yare. As the Team were on route an update came in, that the vessels was under tow. After initial confusion as to the where abouts of the casualty vessel it was located at the Stacey wind pump moorings. The crew had already departed to collect new parts to effect a repair. Team stood down. #111/17

19/11/17. 11:24hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel trapped under Vauxhall bridge. Upon arrival along with the Gorleston ILB, the vessel was taken under tow and secured to a safe mooring. There was no persons onboard. The Broads Authority will collect the vessel later today and take it to its moorings, to be reunited with the owner. #113/17.

8/12/17, 16:53. The team were tasked by Humber CGOC to reports of a dog stuck in the reeds by the River Yare at Polkey’s Mill. The owner was threatening to use an unsafe inflatable to rescue the dog. The area was signed ‘Danger Deep Mud’. The dog was safely recovered and the owner did not enter the water. Hemsby Broads Rescue Boat was also tasked and stood down en route. #117/17

2/1/18, 16:24hrs. The team were paged by Humber CGOC to reports of an object on the Breydon Water mud flats. After a search of the area and speaking to the first informant it was concluded that the object was a piece of tarpaulin. A false alarm with good intent. #001/18

13/1/18. 11:14. Team tasking to support Norfolk Police in a search for a child that was seen close to Breydon Bridge. Along with the Gorleston ILB/ALB, an extensive search took place with nothing found. All teams have now been stood down. #012/18

14/03/18, 14.44 hrs Team paged by Humber CGOC and tasked alongside Lowestoft CRT to reports of a female in the water. Reports of a female seen in the river at Beccles, The team were stood down soon after and returned to station. #019/18.

Hemsby lifeboat shout , " Hemsby Broads Lifeboat was paged at 17:15 today by HM Coastguard to reports of a female casualty who had fallen on the foot-path at Clippesby Mill. The Broads lifeboat was launched at Thurne & proceeded to Clippesby Mill to search for the casualty. After a short while HMCG provided further details & the lifeboat was tasked to search the St Bennett Abbey area, however once on scene Hemsby Lifeboat was stood down, the casualty had been located & our services were no longer required. Also in attendance: EEAS & Winterton CRT."
