14.09.2017 @ 09.52 BST Team paged by Humber CGOC to assist East of England Ambulance Service with the evacuation of a 45 year old male with stomach pains, from a vessel moored at the Stracey Arms. Ambulance crew at scene were able to walk the casualty off the vessel without any difficulty and subsequently the team were stood-down and returned to station. #093/17

HEMSBY Broads LIFEBOAT - callout Sunday 17th September 2017 Paged by Humber Coastguard at 20:24hrs to a broken down, drifting vessel on the River Yare, Nr. Thorpe Marshes Reserve, Norwich. The vessel was located wedged into the river bank with two adults and a 6yr old child onboard. The casualties were removed from the boat and transported by the Broads Lifeboat to Thorpe Green and handed over to waiting Coastguard teams all safe and well. The Broads Lifeboat returned to the stricken craft and towed it to an agreed mooring at Whitlingham Marshes. The casualties were later put in a taxi and sent home, where they would return during daylight to repair the boat. Broads Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station. Also in attendance: Winterton Coastguard teams Broads Lifeboat assets were back on service at 00:26hrs (12:26am)

24/09/17 @ 15.00 BST Team tasked to work with Gorleston ILB and Gorleston RNLI Broads Rescue crews to bring in 2 persons and two ferrets from a vessel aground on Breydon Water at Post 7. The operation also saw EMS recovery and the Broads Authority launch "Spirit of Breydon" involved. Richardsons Boatyard sent a mini bus for the persons and ferrets, landed at the Yarmouth yacht station and the vessel was recovered by EMS later in the evening at high water. #096/17

HEMSBY Broads LIFEBOAT - callout Friday 29th September 2017 Paged by Humber Coastguard at 18:03hrs to reports of a woman who had fallen off her boat into the water at Brundall Garden Marina. Hemsby Broads Lifeboat proceeded to the Marina where the casualty had been recovered by a passerby. Broads Lifeboat crew made the boat safe while the Ambulance crew assessed the casualty. All safe and well. Broads Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station. Also in attendance: Winterton and Gorleston Coastguard teams, Carrow and Sprowston Fire and Recue Service, and the East Of England Ambulance Service Broads Lifeboat assets were back on service at 20:11hrs

30/9/17. 16:09 Team paged by Humber to a cruiser which had gotten into difficulty on Breydon Water. The cruiser was helped by a passing cruiser and the Spirit of Breydon. #101/17

HEMSBY Broads LIFEBOAT - callout Sunday 1st October 2017 Paged by Humber Coastguard at 09:34rs to the vessel ‘SanCarlos’ with reports of a casualty in cardiac arrest. The vessel was located at Thurne Mouth off Thurne Dyke and remoored on the North quayside where Lifeboat crew and Paramedics worked on the casualty for 40 minutes giving CPR while Winterton Coastguard prepared the vessel for casualty extraction. Air Ambulance was on scene, but was later instructed to hold off due to high winds reported at the N&N helipad. The casualty was stabilised with a pulse and transported to a waiting Ambulance and taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Our thoughts go out to the casualty. Broads Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station. Also in attendance: MRCC Humber (coordination and communications), Winterton Coastguard teams (CRT), Air Ambulance, and the East Of England Ambulance and Paramedic Service Broads Lifeboat assets were back on service at 12:07hrs

HEMSBY Broads LIFEBOAT - callout Thursday 5th October 2017 Paged by Humber Coastguard at 21:45hrs at the request of the East Of England Ambulance Service to assist in the evacuation of a 69yr old lady from a leisure cruiser on Malthouse Broad who had fallen and sustained a head injury, and was not responsive. While in transit with Winterton Coastguard both units were stood down by MRCC Humber as the Ambulance Service were able to extract the casualty themselves. Broads Lifeboat returned to station. Also in attendance: MRCC Humber (coordination and communications), Winterton Coastguard teams (CRT), and the East Of England Ambulance Service Broads Lifeboat assets were back on service at 22:22hrs

7/10/17. 07:06hrs. Team paged by Humber to carry out a welfare check on the crew of a yacht that had been found wondering around Breydon Water late last night in the dark. It was towed to the lay-by jetty last night for safety by a local boat yard owner. Upon arrival the Team were unable to make contact with the crew, therefore passed back to Humber to rearrange with the Broads Authority, who will check upon the start of their patrol. #102/17.

11/10/17. 16:27hrs. Team paged by Humber to carry out a welfare check on a cruiser that had run aground on Breydon Water. The crew were happy and well equipped, they will remain on the cruiser and will be checked on later this evening with a view to tow the cruiser on the rising tide. The BA River Dog and the Everitts TOSH tow vessel were also in attendance. #104/17.

22/10/17. 15:23hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel aground on Breydon Water near post 9. Upon arrival the local tow service had assessed the situation and it was found that the vessel would not come off the mud until high tide. The crew of 3 adults, 2 children and a new born were removed from the vessel by the Gorleston ILB, Arancia and BA, taken to the safety of the yacht station. The vessel is to be recovered at high water later tonight. #107/17

24/10/17. 15:52hrs. Team paged by Humber to reports of a vessel aground on Breydon Water near post 31. The crew of 4 persons were safely removed from the vessel by the Gorleston ILB. The Gorleston Coastguard team and BA personnel met the persons at the Yarmouth Yacht Station. The persons were then collected by Richardsons transport. #108/17
