Not on any ordinary boat, no sir! Not "Amber Gem" for Tim and Pru but, "Lady Christina" and "Water Rail" no less!.

They were at Ludham Bridge this morning. Unfortunately I was looking the other way when they came through the bridge but another driver said they got part way then realised they had to lower the windscreen (water was fairly high even at low tide)then pulled it through with a boat hook. They then messed about a bit mooring and remooring. The cameraman was quite a bit later arriving on Water Rail and they had gone by the time we returned so missed any further fun.
Please give a heads up if anyone spots the new series coming up, I missed the India ones.

We love the Broads

I have been in touch with the owners of Lady Christina and Water Rail who are Adam & Katie of Little Ships.co.uk. They are shortly to be based in Horning Marina.  The programme with Tim and Pru is to be aired in the Autumn and is on Channel Four.  I have asked Adam to let me know when they have a confirmed date and time and I will post it. Smile

Kind Regards
Alan...

And just to add, we saw the boat on Sunday - stationary on the Bure just before the turn to Ranworth - causing a little bit of chaos for the posse of day boats, tacking yachts and ... oh yes us ??

I also believe this was to be their final holiday afloat due to Pru's on-going health problem. Can only hope they thoroughly enjoyed themselves in this delightful stretch of waterways   Smile .

Not quite an ancient mariner ..... though some say he was at sea before Pontius was a pilate !
