Please do not be put off, I have hired cruisers twice a year for the last 15 years.

I have had 2 or 3 beers whilst cruising and, once moored up, whether at a pub or simply on board, have easily drunk whatever I want.

Methinks your missus is looking at a way out of this type of holiday.

In addition, although there are lots of stag and hen parties on the Broads, I cannot think of any drunken and out of control people actually at the helm to any extent as to cause issues.

as I say I think your good lady does not want to come really and is doing her best to put you off as a result.

You may be right, all will be revealed tomorrow.  Still the next time she arranges for me to drive her to Lancashire to see her family I will suddenly reasons I don't want to drive a 520 mile round trip.  There's more than one way to skin a cat  Evil Grin
