No it's further down past Somerleyton and on the right fork of the river as it splits. Left fork goes to Oulton Broad. Smile

Waveney River Centre is at Burgh St Peter about 90mins before you get to Beccles.

Happy to support the honest and reliable pubs and businesses of The Norfolk Broads.

Kev,

The Southern Broads are quite different from the Northern Broads...nowhere near as frantic. The tides are much more pronounced and deserve respect especially at places closer to Great Yarmouth...Reedham and Berney Arms on the Yare, St Olaves and Burgh Castle on the Waveney. You can save a surprising amount of fuel too by cruising with the tide rather than against it. Smile

If you get the chance, a visit to Loddon/Chedgrave on the River Chet will reward as will a cruise down to Rockland St Mary on The Yare. Oulton Broad and Beccles on the Waveney are also terrific places to visit.

Have fun...hope the weather plays nice. Cheers

John

Kev, if you are going to Beccles, then bridge clearance permitting you would be well rewarded to go the extra hour and head down to Geldeston
