Nigel, if you are planning on going straight down from Wroxham it will take you approx. 5 to 5 .5 hours to Gt Yarmouth. You can then go through the following morning early. If you are out for a week and intending to spend your time on the South then rather then limit yourself and  book the WRC for a week and having to get back there if no mooring (Long distances in the South) you may be better off creating an itinerary and book some of those slots in advance eg Oulton Broad yacht station,  Beccles yacht station and of course WRC all for one night. You can then easily cancel if you wish to change later. You would in any case have to spend  (as  stated above) at least night 1 North eg in Gt Yar and then in order  to redeliver the boat back to  to Wroxham for early morning of day 8,  need to be back North for night 7 at least - possibly night 6 if tides/bridge clearance dictate.  Therefore you will only have a max of  5 or 4 nights in the South to have to look for moorings.
