"Hi" Read on here that there is a water taxi from just the other side of the lock down to Lowestoft, but went down last we and could not find it even the chap working the river trips said locals had been asking about it but no one seems to know where it is running from, someone said it could be down at the marina but that is quite a walk from the lock, can anyone put any light on this subject ????  Confused

Kindest Regards Mike

Hi Mike,

I'm afraid it's not up and running yet.  I spoke to the owner yesterday who expects to open very soon.

£3.50 each way.

There was a post already running on this subject but it seems to have disappeared.

Seems to have reappeared or maybe it was me Question

Hi Mike,

I was hoping to use The boat taxi tomorrow as I am on a coach outing to GY but am hoping the driver will drop me off at Oulton Broad on the way through.

I have attached a pic of the location which I have taken from The Lowestoft water taxi website. Cheers

Kind Regards
Alan...

It's on their web site, you just have to scroll down to find it.
