Well sadly we can't be afloat like some lucky members so we are going to a Hollywood Oscars themed party at my Son and Daughter in Laws, I've been up since 7 to smoke a 7kg Beef Rump, got the bubbly on ice and now I'm just having an hours rest but keeping my eye on the smoker to make sure the temp stays even. I just thought I would take a mo,ment to wish all members (past) and present) a Happy and Prosperous New Year and I hope that the Forum will continue to be THE place to come to for info on the Broads. Maybe now some of the dissafected members have gone, some of the old posters who felt alienated from the site by all the in fighting might return.

Dave

Cheers Cheers

I bet that'll make you cough. Old Holborn was bad enough for me.

Sadly not afloat tonight as we are going to a murder mystery dinner party.

Jean's character is called Babs Crayfish, an aspiring actress and I am Brian Sewer, a wine critic and generally unpleasant person. You can draw your own conclusions!

Should be a laugh, especially as it means I'll have to get into character with the wine. Shame.

Happy new year to all, may have cold hands right now! But my heart is warm. (Just realised my feet are chuffing cold too!)

Happy New Year everyone.

Don't forget, there will be fireworks at St Catherine's in the middle of Ludham village at midnight.
