My boats moored up but looking at the recent weather I think it needs winterising sooner than later.

I shall be out sailing a Yeoman on Sunday as I do for almost every Sunday of the year plus other days as well.
The motor boat is afloat but not moving only due to a dead engine.!

Steve,
Crossbow is out on the hard standing having its bi-annual winter refit. Two years ago it was renovating and reseating the windows. This year it is fitting shore-power.

With that lot done, maybe I will not be such a fair weather sailor in future, but I doubt it. Besides, reading another post; I wouldn't get out of the basin, as it appears to be iced up.

Regards to you and all of the forum, have a good sailing season in 2015.

Not quite an ancient mariner ..... though some say he was at sea before Pontius was a pilate !

Well with a near 600 mile round trip.
It is NOT the Norfolk weather why we winterize BUT the local weather or road conditions.
Two years ago our village was cut off until bin day.
We all don't live in the soft south where half an inch of snow is national news.

We winterized this week until early march. Had some great late season cruising and can't wait to dewinterise in march.
