I am picking up Siesta from Richardsons on Monday the 8th September my question is how accurate is the bridge height gauge at Ludham Bridge.

I would treat all bridge gauges as being accurate guides.
If the gauges indicates (say) 8ft 6in (typical for Ludham Bridge) there
may be 8ft 9in, but not necessarily so.  If your air draught is the same
as the indicated bridge clearance, proceed with care. If you are a bit
taller than the indicated height you may be in the tolerance zone.  If
you try it, go very slowly and very carefully.
Clearly, all of the Richardsons boats will go through but you may
have to wait for low water.
