Current prediction from MyWeather2.com is looking quite promising. It doesn't take any account of chop caused by the fact we'll have wind against tide, but with such light breezes that will be pretty negligable. It also looks as though when I take a peek down there early saturday morning that should be about the worst it will be as it's calming as time goes on.

Cheers

Mark

IMPORTANT REQUEST

Due to a clerical mix up at OBYS, THEY have failed to request from us the dimensions of each craft that will be attending the CINC meet by both river and/or by sea.

OBYS now need the length and beam of each craft before we all arrive tomorrow!

If you are attending, please can you TEXT your boat's length and beam to GRIFF as soon as possible today on 07966 168647.

Apparently they particularly need this information for the boats arriving through Lake Lothing as they alone will be responsible for deciding the sequence of which boats will be called forward to enter Mutford Lock.

Griff is already afloat on BA, and TC will be sailing at 11.00 from Horning this morning & will both be on site at Berney Arms later today and will get this information from anyone there who has missed this post.

Will anyone reading this who is meeting at Stracey Arms tonight, please ask others there, who have not seen this post, to text Griff on the above number with the information requested.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Simon

Up here the wind is decreasing nicely. The bad news is we now have a drizzle sea fog.

Here's hoping that everyone has a safe and fabulous time over the weekend and that everything goes to plan. Calm seas, fair weather and faultless machinery to all. Cheers

Thanks for the good wishes Smile

I'll be sure to pass them along to everyone!

Forecast is looking positive, although a bit of sun to burn off the mist would be nice  Cool Indifference

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow

Due to an incident at Oulton Broad Yacht Station it will be closed for mooring until Monday at the earliest.

The same applies for the locks.

I've had a chat with Griff and we're hoping to be able to do the event at Berney Arms.
