0% chance of any ice either!  Smile

Its the wave height primarily that concerns me, followed by swell direction and lastly wind speed.

It's improving all the time now down to less that 1m Friday evening 11th at 2100

A 1m swell, wow, the powers that be won't let you cross Breydon in that! You'll all have to go down the coast in that case Playful Wink

JM - That post Sir, - is one out of the top drawer  Cheers

I know it was said in jest - But it theoretically could happen!  Picture the scenario, 0800 a ba ranger instructs me at GYA Yacht station that Breydon is closed, so down the Yare I go, out to sea, 1m swell - not ideal but from experience with 'B.A' - easily manageable, 2 x Hrs later I'm at Mutford lock, lock through then down the Waveney to Burgh Castle, fishermans bar, arrival time roughly 1300 and the same ranger stops me going over Breydon again!  LOL

I've just read Griff's post "Entering Lowestoft". Can I make a request? If I listen on PMR channel 4, can someone shout "Sunbird, do this", or "Sunbird, do that", please? All this technical stuff is worrying me! Just tell me what to do, and when to do it, and I'll be happy. Smile

Regards, Ray.

Consider it done Ray, I want to avoid 21 x craft calling up port authorities on vhf immediately consequentiality.  As we enter in groups, 1 x craft will do the vhf thing per group, then pass instructions to the rest of the group via the PMR (Those that have vhf will or should be keeping a listening watch anyhow) You will then be 'kept an eye on' and instructed accordingly.

Hope that helps,

Griff

Any idea of how many moorings available at Berney Arms ? looks to me like it could be crowded with boats from the North on the NBF Cin C over nighting as well as all the boats from the South on the Salty trip ? not counting boats not involved, it could be an early introduction for us all if we have to double up ?
