I am hoping to still be in Brundall on the
12th, where would be a good place to
stand and shout abuse, sorry, I mean see
the parade of boats, preferably both
flotillas and what sort of time would be
best.

Just reread the above, before anyone
says it, I don't mean where in Brundall, I
will drive over as we are returning home
early Sunday.

Ok river flotilla - anywhere from The Fishermans bar through to OBYS - Best keep an eye on the relevant thread or ask ZTD

Salty Types - adjacent to Haven Bridge GYA at 1100 or anywhere downstream to GYA piers thereafter.

Then at Lowestoft harbour entrance, listen to vhf / pmr or txt/mobile phone and ask for eta. Mutford Lock area or at OBYS

Both flotillas together - OBYS but they will be stationary.  There maybe a chance (Again depending on ZTD and the river goers) for both flotillas to meet  between Haven and Breydon bridges just before 1100

Hope this helps,

Griff

Jason - current figures put it at around 81 - that is signed up for the BBQ, maybe a few more attending but not making use of the BBQ.

Menu - go to the 2nd post of this thread 'Information' - it's all there

I do hope you meant 0.2m Griff!!

I tend to mainly use MyWeather2.com which has tended to be more accurate in the past than Windguru for wave height prediction. Another one that seems reasonably accurate is Yachting Weather app by Esirion on iPhones.

Cheers

Ncsl - there is a tidal stream running against us, plus we will no doubt be having photo runs with the two historic s etc, and there is also a craft with us who can only make 5mph at best so I would have though 1600.

But no definite eta planned - subject to change of course

Mbird - yes of course I did, if you get yer specs on you will see there is a ':' before the '2' therefore 200mm, sorry if this caused anyone any confusion or gave anyone a scare  Smile

I wish everyone a great weekend ~ sorry WR won't be there (and certainly not at sea) and that isn't Jason's fault just I'm too preoccupied with another interest!

Water Rail, 81 years old this year and still looking beautful!
