My bit of dried seaweed hung up in the shed got it right!
This might prove useful:

That said, I find the NBF 5 day forecast pretty much spot on.

I am not sure if this link will work, if not your need to go to the main site www.buoyweather.com - Click Europe then United Kingdom and zoom down to between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

You get a couple of days forecast free - but the good thing is it is getting data from the weather Buoys themselves I believe so will be very local to the area.

Here is the one for us: http://www.buoyweather.com/wxnav6.jsp?program=nww3BW1&grb=nww3®ion=UK&latitude=52.5&longitude=2.0&zone=0&units=m&reqLatitude=52.53627304145948&reqLongitude=1.845703125

I am hoping to still be in Brundall on the
12th, where would be a good place to
stand and shout abuse, sorry, I mean see
the parade of boats, preferably both
flotillas and what sort of time would be
best.

Just reread the above, before anyone
says it, I don't mean where in Brundall, I
will drive over as we are returning home
early Sunday.

Ok river flotilla - anywhere from The Fishermans bar through to OBYS - Best keep an eye on the relevant thread or ask ZTD

Salty Types - adjacent to Haven Bridge GYA at 1100 or anywhere downstream to GYA piers thereafter.

Then at Lowestoft harbour entrance, listen to vhf / pmr or txt/mobile phone and ask for eta. Mutford Lock area or at OBYS

Both flotillas together - OBYS but they will be stationary.  There maybe a chance (Again depending on ZTD and the river goers) for both flotillas to meet  between Haven and Breydon bridges just before 1100

Hope this helps,

Griff

Jason - current figures put it at around 81 - that is signed up for the BBQ, maybe a few more attending but not making use of the BBQ.

Menu - go to the 2nd post of this thread 'Information' - it's all there
