Even I'm not quite sure what to expect! Rebecca has played at Glastonbury, including Willie Nelson's band. Featured with Dr Drub(?) in Paris, played at the Edinburgh Fringe, played classics in various orchestras and played jazz at night-clubs in Amsterdam and Newfoundland for example. In other words her repertoire is varied! This morning she was working on her arrangement of Bright Eyes, delightful, hope she plays it on the night.

Tadlow2 - Done as requested

CaptBryan - Tks, looks promising

Peter - very much looking forward to seeing your daughter (And hearing her  Playful  )  MrsG - very impressed when I told her.

I spoke with the skipper of MTB102 and Humber yesterday - both vessels are good to go as things stand.

We are now up to 78 for the BBQ, just waiting on a few more confirming.

Hope that we can raise a pound or two for charity whilst we are at it.

Hope that those who missed the Northern Rivers Meet can make it to Oulton Broad. I can only offer camping space but, as I wrote before, it's here if anyone needs it.

Peter - we are hoping to raise funds for the NBF, (try to make up some of this years shortfall on previous years total at the recent meet) and also a donation toward the MTB102 coffers.

I'm proper looking forward to seeing your daughters live performance, which reminds me, just how come you have such a talented and good looking daughter - How did you manage that then?  Playful Wink

It would be nice to raise a bit more for NBF, although, while the Auction was well down, the raffle and tombola may well have been OK, especially as the raffle sells online.

Best wishes,

Pauline

I was speaking to someone today and they suggested it would be an ideal time to also raise money for the RNLI, a very worthy cause.

So I will start the ball rolling and add £200 into the charity kitty. (thats me spent out this year!)
