Ok - this evening after the disappointment of Englands latest defeat (amongst many) - I cheered mysen up by sorting out the NAVPLAN

Therefore the 'Information' post 'Navigation' has been updated with tidal streams, tide times, heading bearings and the like.  Any questions or suggestions?

Only 3 x weeks to go, getting exciting and closer by the day now  Smile

Can someone step forward to be wx (Weather) God?  we need to start applying to Neptune for a favourable sea state.

Sea State 'Slight' I would offer is our maximum sea state we would wish to venture out in. (Although bordering on a northerly moderate can be done)  I've had 'B.A' out in a proper moderate - it is not fun and not worth putting crew / craft at risk imho

I asked Griff recently if any music was planned for the BBQ at the
Cin C, 'No but it would be nice', came the reply, together with a
suggestion that I give it a go to get some sorted.
It's late and as it's basically a party, we need to pay.  I have three £50
offers in, and would think£300 should be enough. If you are willing to
pledge a share and just have the money there on the night, please
PM me.

Best wishes,

Pauline

Blimey, Katherine Jenkins works cheap nowadays. Smile

I have the means, probably. One daughter is a DJ, the
other plays what I suppose is progressive, electric
violin, she's just back from a tour of Europe. Black
Lace & Barry Manilow they are not, however they are
both well thought of by their fans. I can only ask.

Wow, Peter! I have put an offer out and will know today if One Hand Clapping can take it up, if not, you are definitely next!

Best wishes,

Pauline

Hi Griff

Just read you navigation additions on page 1, but can't comment at the moment as I don't have my charts with me. Sounds about right though.

Just one thing to add is that I will be driving to Gorleston early on Saturday morning to take a look at the sea state and will report back before we leave Reedham marina. It's no good getting to the harbour entrance and then deciding not to go, as once you are under Haven bridge you are pretty well committed unless you fancy tying up on Town Hall Quay until the next booked bridge lift, as they won't lift it again for you to pass back under.

Cheers

Mark

Griff, you may wish to look at this forecast as it now
goes out to 12.07.14.
My background makes me put a lot of store in Jetstream
activity and it is looking not too bad for you.
regards.

Please leave the water and

find them.

Unfortunately Pauline couldn't get Kathleen Jenkins, seems that she was already booked. Instead Pauline has taken the brave step of going completely native, doing diffrant! Electric violin & keyboard, with a spot of vocals.
