Does anyone know if The Wherry Hotel Oulton Broad has a strict policy with the use of their car park?

We have two family members coming to stay for a weekend on a boat we have hired.

The plan would be for the family to park their car at The Wherry Hotel on a Saturday lunch and get a cab to St Olaves where they would board the boat.

We intend to pay for mooring the boat outside The Wherry hotel but not arriving till the Sunday lunch when we will stay in the bar till late evening. We will be spending plenty as all will be eating from the carvery and most of us will be drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

We don’t want to arrive on the Sunday to find the car has an additional piece of kit normally yellow in colour attached to one of the wheels.
Question

Kind Regards
Alan...

Alan, we have done this a few times, we went in and saw the duty manager explained what we wanted to do and offered to pay for the Parking, as we were eating in the restaurant they did not take any payment for parking. I'm sure if you contact them and explain as you have here that, they will accommodate you.

Don't know myself but you could ring and ask 01502 516845 sure they will solve your dilemma.

Alan, there is nearby on-street parking to the Wherry. I can offer off-road parking but it's a mile away. There are paid for council car-parks less than half a mile away. The Wherry is pretty good re car parking but Sundays are always exceptionally busy, they then have a car-park attendant during the summer. As has been said, give them a bell.

The Broads is a member of the
National Parks family, it is
NOT a National Park though.

If you can't work it out with the Wherry, although I'm sure the will help out, I can arrange a no-charge option about 500 yds away for the time period.
