I would like to start by saying this is for information only and not to resurrect previous arguments.

As members of the NSBA should be aware from the newsletter the NSBA along with the BHBF have requested a meeting with the BA to review the above arrangement`s this is scheduled for Thursday 25th April.

Richard Card the NSBA chairman has kindly welcomed views from everyone including non members either for or against the proposals and especially any with evidence or experience of issues arising so he can present a balanced view, these can be emailed to him at richard.card1@btinternet.com and I would urge anyone interested to do so.

Thank you Brian - very useful to know and I hope everyone with a view takes time to pass it on. Many points to be made as raised here previously.

Hello Brian,
Do you have any contacts or at least a name / names for the person / persons representing the BA at this meeting so that views can be sent to both parties?
Thank you in advance...

I would suggest any views that folk wish to make to the BA are sent directly to them by post. Shame they didn't ask for our views in the first place... ( If they did I apologise but as a toll payer I don't recall being asked)

Hi Exile,

I am afraid I don`t maybe Richard can help you if you contact him, in the past I have gone through Trudy Wakelin and she has always redirected everything to the appropriate department if this helps.

                Brian
Edited to add from what Richard told me I don`t think this is an open discussion and certainly not instigated by the BA but a meeting requested by the NSBA and BHBF

Mixed feelings about this one. Does any one know if this was originally an 'officer' or 'committee' decision?

Peter,

I am afraid I for one can`t help you on that but as this is in essence a review of the consequence`s of the decisions that came out of last years consultation I don`t see anything to alarming, this is simply a request to get as many views as possible and as the BA are not inviting individual opinions Richard has opened up the opportunity for non members to participate, all the information I have above what`s in the newsletter I have received via email from Richard and feel sure he would happily answer any questions put to him.

I would like to have expressed my views on this – Double Moorings – but would like to know a little more background.

Brian mentions that members of the NSBA should be aware from the Newsletter that along with the BHBF members have requested a meeting with the Broads Authority to review (I presume) double mooring.

Having been to the NSBA website, I cannot find reference to this Newsletter (the most recent on the site is autumn 2011).

I’d prefer not to send Richard an email about my views on something I do have views on, yet am not really aware of enough background of as with regard to the NSBA - in short don't want to express a view and find it is very much not on subject.
