I'm pretty sure the games room existed when I went their last September and they are advertising it on their new web site. Rewind the last sentence their web site indicates that they are making the games room into a dining area. I am back on the Broads early May and will check it out.
Once again I would advise coming South. If its amusements that you want then a night at Gt Yarmouth is a must, not only is there a very good Pleasure Beach/fun fair there are literally thousands of amusement machines in scores of arcades.
On a much smaller scale there is also an arcade at Oulton Broad, plus a nature reserve and small zoo with animals the children can handle.
At the high cultural end of things a trip to Norwich should exhaust them. The Castle Museum & Art Gallery is world class and the Cathedral is breath-taking.

If you are stopping on the Northern Broads, you can moor up the boat and go into Great Yarmouth by public transport. We have stopped at Acle and done this but you could do it from a number of locations.
