There is a pool at Horning ferry marina, also Bewilder wood at Horning (dependant on kids ages) slots at potter heigham next to the chippy. slots in Wroxham.

But what about a spot of fishing or even look into hiring a rowing or even a sailing dingy?

Edited because my brain works faster than my fingers.

Hi,
There is another pool at the Waveney inn river centre near Oulton broad,(we have used it a number of times). The moorings are chargable, but normally for overnight only, advisable to phone before going and it can get busy in high season as they have a caravan and camping site too!

blademan hi,
Not sure if you meant pool table or swimming pool.  Their is a Lido at Beccles on the Southern Broads.  There was also a pool at Oulton Broad but Im not sure if it still exists.  If you are talking pool tables The Beauchamp Arms at Buckenham near Cantley has a couple along with a few game machines.  On the Northern Broads The Ferry Inn at Horning has the biggest games room I've seen attached to any pub. Which side of The Broads are you picking up the boat from north or south?  If you intend to cover both sides you will have to cross Breydon Water.  The following link will give you information.

Your first time eh, well I bet it won't be your last, you and the kids will love it.
And the kids also love driving the boat too.
Have a lovely time.

The Bridge Inn at Acles has an arcade for kids and it has very cheap slots and games machines so it's kinder on Dads pocket Wink

Pool table in beer garden (under canopy)  at The Maltsters, Ranworth.

And just a short walk from The Staithe is the Ranworth Broad Nature reserve with its floating wildlife centre / visitor centre  and a great boardwalk.

I think the games room at the Ferry has gone, but perhaps someone can confirm. last time I was up there in November it was closed and all the machines gone.

I'm pretty sure the games room existed when I went their last September and they are advertising it on their new web site. Rewind the last sentence their web site indicates that they are making the games room into a dining area.   I am back on the Broads early May and will check it out.
