The river levels on the upper Medway are a tad high, about 9 feet higher than normal. At least Ellie Knight will be fine among the gin palaces, she is a Broads boat. tounge-in-cheek

Nature just got nasty,  the river has started to breach the banks, fingers crossed it goes down soon. How beautiful but unpredictable water can be...  At least all the lodges are on floats now but still worrying for the owners.  Wellies on in the morning and check it out. I know several on site boat owners will be doing the rounds to check on the boats.
