I have just rec'd a mail saying the above has been closed until later in the day. Divert via St Olaves.

Captain Howe.
The Broads are:-
Not a Theme Park.
The Broads need the winter to recover, the numbers are becoming too great and the grey water too damaging.

Just heard it on Radio Norfolk.   If that has been there since Bank holiday Monday I am suprised no one has done their boat some damage.    This guy went missing in Gt Yarmouth after a night out.   Seems there is more to this.    I feel so much for his family at this time.

Water levels have been high this week, I wonder what the exact location is?

We've been diverted this morning from the Reedham end by the River Inspector.  Were just told that there was an ongoing police investigation.  Couldn't see a lot going on.  We're just crossing the bottom of Breydon now so will see if there is any activity when we get to St Olaves.

To the best of my knowledge, there have been yellow markers there for some weeks. The original entrance to St Olaves marina has been closed and a new one opened just to the right of the location in the picture onto The New Cut. The new entrance has been piled and quayheaded and I thought the Yellow markers appeared around that time.

I came down the cut on Easter Monday and under that bridge and there was nothing unusual there then.

According to the EDP photo it looks like its just under the bridge where the old road went across.
