Great stuff Simon, the more folks that sign up early the more likely we are to be able to do what we want to do...

Seven signed up now.

Good stuff.

IF you should plan a river excursion to Geldestone and back and if we have room onboard we will of course offer a ride there and back for those that cannot get their craft under Beccles old road bridge

There is always the ferry that runs from the Lido to the locks as well. (The Black dog or Big dog if I remember correctly - and please correct me if I am wrong)

Do we know for sure that the Beccles mooring has been booked for that date as it is the weekend of Bank Holiday?

Would hate to see people booking the boats and find they have no wharer to go !  Blush

No not booked yet as no idea (yet ) for numbers.

If you think it appropriate we could book 20 slots provisionally for the Friday night? But if 37 boats turn up we still have a problem. I wanted to get an idea of numbers but if folks dont want to commit to provisioanlly comming it doesnt help us.

I can definately book for those that have signed up so far as the yacht station will use the names to fill the book.

Do you think it appropriate to book say 25 slots under CinC NBF and go from there.. suggestions welcome...

OK Fiona is ringing up the yacht station this afternoon and reserving moorings for the already signed up boats (7) and also asking if we can reserve 20 additional moorings to be allocated as we go along.

Will update on stations response.

Tried to ring them this afternoon from Belgium ,but no reply .
It may be better to have some local support on this one ,either on the phone or someone calling in in person to see them and discuss our plans -any volunteers out there ,otherwise I will keep trying when I can from Belgium .
Fiona.
