Do keep up yourself Mr Griffin!

I was replying to Lisa's post! It doesn't all revolve around you and your dirty mind you know.  Playful Wink

An hours detention and 100 lines- I must pay attention to the teacher!

Lisa, I came through on Thursday with the screen up and had plenty of clearance. Hopefully you should be fine.

We are also going to need leave Beccles very early on Saturday morning, as like the Malankans we need to be back up to Great Yarmouth for the 11am low tide.

We will try and make sure we make the minimum noise possible as we leave.

Lord Paul,
I believe according to Simons plan PL9 is at the back in the middle, could be interesting as we pass.

Griff, I will be keeping a close watch on teacher's transom so she does not step out of line, hope the c-in-c does not come to a sudden stop or someone will get a bowsprit up the exhaust pipe.   Evil Grin

I thought having PL9" dressed over all"  with  the Stick up would make a
great finale as we pass along Oulton and up the Waveney past WRC. I
believe WRC are planning to give us all a cheer as we pass. I think its
going be a fun and memorable day Smile

Charlie

I recall you asked to be at the back of the fleet viz a viz a possible engine
issue.

I have tried to give a balance look to the flotilla, where ever possible
matching boats of similar sizes. Not an easy task Confused

With our engine troubles you might end up having to pass me!

And if your bowsprit is level with my exhaust then you need a new bilge pump.

Simon - I know I did, I said about the engine trouble in my post yesterday evening.

Please confirm I'm right in reading your earlier post and that you will be on the CinC from Oulton to Beccles.

Thanks

Dear All

WE ARE BACK NOW!!!! I will call Simon tonight and see whats what and get up to speed.

In the light of recent posts concerning the pace of the CinC I do not intend that we speed up the Waveney at anything like 6 mph. I would hope that we can maintain steerage at considerably slower speed that that.
I will be dropping into the WRC early next week to tell them of our final times etc and let them know what's up on the 24th.

As for getting up early on Saturday for the GY bridge thingy. We will be leaving early and of course running our engine for the required twenty minutes prior to departure. OK sarc off.....
If we get up early enough and leave then we can do the GY thing with top up (req 8 ft). If not then we will do it with top down (req 7 ft) either way we will not have an issue with punching the flow, water punp not withstanding....the big lump in Malanka is easily capable of achieving almost the maximum displacement speed (where possible that is)
Anyone wishing to accompany us is more than welcome to tag along and have some fun with us on the way back.

Life is too short
