Thanks to my manager for swapping saturday so i could get upto Norfolk earlier, set off at about 10.00ish arived at Potter at about 11.30, go and look at Delilah with a big sigh of relief, now just to get the keys and unload the car.I set off for thurne dyke to meet up with Vikki. She gets there slightly before me and takes some photos of me coming in, load the dog and vikki onto the boat and set off for ranworth, botton of the thurne we meet a load of sailies, going very slow and only a breaze, we go past just enjoying the boat. Eventualy we arive at the quay at malthouse and moor stern on (two day boats taking up most of the moorings, side on) tie up and take the dog off for a walk, i hear a scream and turn round to see one of the crew from a day boat horizontal between the bank and an ever mooving boat, i laugh quietly and think that wouldn't have happend if you stern moored. We spen the night at ranworth enjoying a home (boat)cooked meal and a bottle of champagne ( that stuff is too fizzy for me). Night time goes by and the wind is coming straight down the broad, and the waves are cracking at the hull all night, but never mind it is novemeber after all. Up at 9.00, a warm hairy nose is put in my hand as i slept (that would be zac not vikki) and we gently bring in the day with toast and tea. eventualy we set off for thurne dyke so vikki can get the car and then i set off for acle, 1 boat is all i saw, I moor next to our old boat and wait for vikki, We then shoot the elysian upto the bridge and i move delilah into our moorings, then drive back to the Bridge for a pint of Wherry. head home and can't wait for the next weekend up there (end of this week)

Small problem Gary, where are you going to put a forum flag? There's no flagpole! Seriously though, really pleased for you. I always got the impression that you never 'bonded' with your other boat. (Daft America sounding phrase, but you know what I mean.) Hope that the bond with Delilah is stronger and wish you many happy hours aboard her.

I had a quick nose at her the other day when I was at Potter. She looks very good and certainly a step up from your previous one. Will look forward to seeing you all on her soon I hope. Good luck with her. BTW you are too late for the calendar shoot on her, but always next year ?

Zac mate that is a lovely proper boat...Get Polishing..... You must be so pleased. I am pleased and it's not my boat... We look forward to seeing you out on the water with her. Cos you now have an easily recognisable boat get ready for Matt telling you off for excessive waving and smiling... All the best mate ...

Got it. After studying the picture I now realise there are two things out of place. 1. There is no sticky up thing to hang bedsheets from. That can be sorted at a very reasonable price 2. Why is Garys wig laying on top of the boat? If you would like me to carry out the modifications to make it a proper boat Gary, you have my number

Gary, PM sent to you, sorry for the rather abrupt end but I sent it before signing it off.
