hello all, noticed today while on internet that ranworth broad is close to hire craft because of a green algae, does anyone know weather this is a temporary measure or it will be closed for a while as me and my family are on the broads next week and was looking to visit ranworth broad at some stage.

Ranworth Broad has been closed to all craft for many years, the Broad we think of as Ranworth is Malthouse Broad.
If it were to be closed, it would be to all craft, I am sure, not just Hire Boats. But apart from that has anyone else got news?
I am on the BA mailing list and have certainly not heard anything. The algae gets pretty bad at this time of the year on Barton, but I have never heard of a closure.

Captain Howe.

Yes, folks. Please use Steve's earlier thread. I'll lock this one so we don't have two threads running on the identical subject.

Thanks for posting the links, Clive. Cheers

John
