Now then,

When signing up on the 'Forum Events' (Down in Red at the bottom of the page) please could you enter in the 'Any other donation's box your intended start destination. this does not have to be set in stone and can be altered nearer the time to suit oneself etc

Any guesses on the final number attending this event? so far we have 27 craft and it's not even December yet.

This could be bigger than a bag of big things.  exciting times ahead methinks.

Mad?

I wouldn't say your mad, maybe a little miffed sometimes  Playful Wink

Yes 'B.A' was down for the Yare contingent, however G.C has other things in hand so there is now no need for me to dash across to Reedham to collect him.  To be honest I'm not sure yet where we are starting from, it maybe the Ant (Hill) mob or we may go down to Stracey and pick up the Waveney and Yare flotilla there. Depends on the rest of my crew at the time I suppose.

We will be travelling down on the Thursday evening, and seeing as there will be eight of us, I should be astride my beloved Tiger of course.  No traffic jams or hold ups for me then  Smile

Can i just recap that this event 'The NBF Cruise in Company' is open to all members whether they be owners or hirers, stinky's or Rag-n-Sticks, Rag-n-Sticks will however for this event require some 'Proper' propulsion and have to leave their rags firmly stowed away!

Forum Newbies, whether you have been a member for only a day, and whether you post every day or only once a year - all welcome

I would ask that those that are intending to attend that you preferably have a Forum flag flying (Available from the forum shop) or print and display the forum logo for your chosen craft.

Thanks,

Griff

I feel we've made headway on our personal plans for the Cruise in Company, viz...

1. Thursday night mooring at Oulton Broad booked (first one in new BLACK mooring register for 2011 - hope they remember it's the black one for moorings, our booking was looking decidedly lonely last week!)

2. Hotel booked for Saturday night.

3. Remote handover of shared ownership boat mooted and accepted by next party of cruisers. Potential new forum members?

4. Flagpole bought from BillMaxted and flag attached.

5. Small Terrier taught to whistle "Ride of the Valkyrie" and SternMoor ever ready to quote "I love the smell of diesel in the mornings"...

212 days! Only 212 - gulp!

How am I possibly going to teach my b****y boat to swim in just 212 days!

Its not the water wings - got those. Its the 33 foot swimming costume thats the problem, and thats a lot of lycra!

"Knows what a Cringle is" ... erm...
