It has just dawned on me that we never saw the panoramic photo that Paul took at the meet this year, of everyone sat on the front of the boats whilst moored on the island.
Can someone direct me too it? As I am sure there will be link somewhere.

Cheers

VERY pleased to say that with the recommendation of fidear45 (Martin), we have been able to book a hotel for the evening of Saturday 25th June in Crostwick.  This is the hotel fidear45 mentions in his tale of the inaugural overnight cruise of Malanka and the hotel receptionist couldn't have been more pleasant, though it's right in the middle of the wedding period, they were prepared to book for one night (most require minimum two nights in the season) and were happy to accept our little dog.

Lisa

So...roll on June.

Just to add that this hotel has an outdoor pool and lovely function room too. The staff are pleasant the breakfast is superb (you can mix and match the items from the full English menu)it is served piping hot with toast, tea, coffee and or hot chocolate (with milk ) for the children. We have stayed there 4 times now and we think its lovely.

Life is too short

I am liking the idea of watching the racing on Oulton Broad on the Thursday night but we are due to have my in-laws staying for a couple of nights that week. If we head south that means they may need to stay for longer..........

Lisa-Did you explore the remote change over option?

Thats providing you aren't horizontal before you get there and the ferry pilots not under the influence.

Graham, if Yorkshire is so great then why do Yorkshiremen keep coming to Norfolk?

Jenny Morgan,
A vane, a boat, but not a bird.

The Broads is NOT a National Park.

"That's providing ... that the ferry pilot is not under the influence."

He won't be drinking the falling down water.
There is always the worry of an overdose of Polo Mints though.
And if someone brings a traction engine, there's no chance of the ferry running properly.
