How about Barton Turf in case people need land access for dogs etc? (by etc I mean children!)

Then pick people up where needed as you travel down th ant?

We currently have radios on the VHF Ham Bands in
the Ant group - myself and Arthur
Thurn group   -   Woodwose
Yare - Pulse ( Gary) I think he has Ham Band VHF?

These can contact each other where ever they are on the system and relay info to others within their group if need be.

That way we should all know what is happening and locations of each group - I hope. Scared

Thanks Gary.
I and 1 or 2 others can monitor / use Marine Band so we can keep a listening watch for your group.

Heyup Y'all,

pleas pay attention, especially the i/c's of the relevant river flotillas

It has been pointed out to me that some forumites will be boarding their craft up to ten days before the event on the 24th JUNE therefore we now need to publish timings of departure times from the relevant venues.

This all hinges on the arrival of the Yare/Waveney group at Acle Bridge, Thurne Mouth and St Benets Abbey.

So J.M time for you to shine and give us your best estimate of your eta at Acle Bridge please, the rest of us can then plan to be at our locations ready to join the group, you should be collecting the Ant group St Benets then up the Bure via a round trip in / out of Malthouse Broad for any stragglers to tag on then onwards to Salhouse Broad.

For those of you that have not signed up for the C-in-C it is not too late to do so.

See you afloat.

After we (Malanka and Corsica)had a practice two way mudweight in Ranworth on Sunday Morning I hope it's not that windy for the CinC.
Had to hang on to the bacon butties or they would have flown away like a piece of steak over the side (apologies to Sonia and Simon....)
