Hi all, times moving on quite quickly now doesn't seem five minutes since it was a twinkling in someone's eye.
Well in to getting things in for the Holiday and CiC, i know some poeople will be holidaying earlier than us and was wondering about the cruising times and meet up times /area's. Richardsons have been very good in fact excellent in letting those who are on the CiC pick up craft early (tin of sweets to be given on arrival and some beers for the rest).
i am expecting to leave Richardsons at around 12-12.30ish on the Friday which would get us to St benets for around 2.- 2.30ish, which looking at the tides would expect to have a short wait for the main cruise to arrive, I would like to give our flotilla some times and where we will meet or is this still too early?
To all the Ant crews my mobile is in the SOS List or drop me a PM if anyone has any other ideas.

As the opening line on the first post says This 'plan' is all subject to change of course as are all thing Broads related

Can I make a change to our arrangements?
With 3 1/2 weeks until we hit the Broads it is becoming obvious that travelling from Oulton Broad to Salhouse non stop is not appealing with a 3 year old and a 3 month old. Griff-Can you change Evening Shadow to a TBA?

I will try and post up during the week (iPhone) permitting regarding a start location (it will be North Broads somehere) but will depend on how the week takes us-Can we get under Potter? Shall we go to Bewilderwood? Maybe a day at the Beach? Its tough but someone has to do it!  Smile

Hi Graham, the earlier you ask folks to meet at a particular place the more chance we have I think of folks remembering and suggesting alternatives that make sense.
To my mind the place that makes most sense would be Barton. (as long as its not as windy as it was last Sunday/Monday)
There is perhaps quite an opportunity opposite the sailing club pontoons, as long as the weather is nice.

Life is too short

How about Barton Turf in case people need land access for dogs etc? (by etc I mean children!)

Then pick people up where needed as you travel down th ant?

We currently have radios on the VHF Ham Bands in
the Ant group - myself and Arthur
Thurn group   -   Woodwose
Yare - Pulse ( Gary) I think he has Ham Band VHF?

These can contact each other where ever they are on the system and relay info to others within their group if need be.

That way we should all know what is happening and locations of each group - I hope. Scared

Thanks Gary.
I and 1 or 2 others can monitor / use Marine Band so we can keep a listening watch for your group.
