To recap just one point the C-in-C is open to Hirers, Owners, Sailies and superiors (Power craft) alike

"SAILIES" I have not looked back on the thread, but was it sailies only if thick black smoke coming out the back, no wind machines?

Correct Malcom, tks for pointing that out, a Cruise in Company is not practicle under wind power of course, to un predictable, not reliable, can't plan at all, then there is the yachts themselves  Evil Grin

Well thats it done, final monies to Richardsons, now it
feels like a holiday in the making, lists of things to do
and things to buy, now all it needs is Richardsons for
some help with the times and we are ready to cruise.
Sooooooooooo looking forward to meeting everyone.
58 days to go!!!!

Griff/Gary and just about everybody else.

Have you considered inviting UK boating along for some filming on
the day?

Just had a butchers on their Facebook page and they are currently
filming for a new series (on the Thames tomorrow).

It could add another dimension to the day and would obviously give
some publicity to the website.

Called in at a shop called "B&M Home Store" today and discovered they were selling lots of different types of solar powered string lights.  I was wondering how we would decorate Moonlight Shadow.  I bought 50 blue lights (because a Moonshadow always seems blue to me) but they had lots of other styles, including dragonflies.

Now, I need reasonable Admiralty flags (in addition to the infamous brooch), has anyone settled on the best option?

MS is 38 feet so I'll be wanting about 40 feet each side from the bow across the sliding roof and down to the stern?  Does that sound about right?

Hi Lisa search back a few posts and you will find a URL I posted for 12m admiralty flags for a good price. There is one for solar lamps too.

My boo boo, the links were in the forum flag thread.

PM sent Liz...

I would imagine that most of the union flag bunting will be of the cheap plastic single use variety. About as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
