Just had a thought (Yes before you go on, it did 'urt my 'ed too)

There are some forumites that choose not to attend the annual meet up at Ranworth island cos it's just 'Not their scene' fair enough, I've no issues with that and each to their own etc

Maybe just maybe however they might like to join in this 'Cruise in company' malarky though? even if not staying overnight or mudweighting at Salhouse.

Just a thought  Smile

Griff,

I will be at one of the meeting points b ut I cant tell you what one over 7 months in advance!

It will depend on crew etc. I will let update the thread once confirmed.

It's a long way ahead but "SUNCHASER" hopes to be with "THE WAVENEY" fleet.
What a pride to sail behind our right honerable leader, i can see the fireworks going off over "OULTON BROAD" now.

I think that ZAC THE DOG  would be proud if he was asked to be in charge of "THE BURE SOUTH" fleet.

All the best

Malcolm

Me too. Knowing they are "getting rid" of him for at least 2 days LOL

Gary.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them.

Griff, nine mile being the case I suspect that a rendezvous on Breydon, via St.Olaves, might be best, unless St.Olaves Bridge is a no-no for anyone. Either that or we set off half an hour earlier!

Jenny Morgan,
A vane, a boat, but not a bird.
The Broads is NOT a National Park.

JM - Seems like a good idea to me, the meet on Breydon by the Berney Arms area.  This will be easier of course once we get a press ganged volunteer to be I/c of the Yare fleet, then I suggest you take charge and work out timings for Acle Bridge, Thurne Mouth, St Bennets and Malthouse Broad.

ZTD - Well volunteered for coordinating the Lower Bure from Stracey Arms to Thurne mouth (That is assuming you are going to be in attendance of course)

And we still need an i/c for the Thurne, Ant and Upper Bure fleets too.

May I suggest that Charlie's Dad is i/c of the Beccles fleet? Tinhat

Its a shame that Charlotte cant make it really. 13 weeks holiday a year but cant get a Friday off work. Not good planning really is it LOL

I am hoping that any work on WR will be done in the spring (please Jason)so have put a note in the holiday book for next year that I don't want to work 24th June!!!!

I don't want to make promises and not keep them but it looks like she could be there although probably with the shortest journey

Apart from the Admiral leading the fleet perhaps we should put age before beauty! Playful Wink

OI Trouble maker!

I told you, he ain't allowed out without supervision.   And he definitely isn't joining in all the fun without me, which is more to the point!!!  Besides he isn't a forum member!!!!!!!!

BTW took the biggest pile of marking on the boat with me last week and worked every evening!  13 weeks holidays - thats's a joke.  If you take into account the 80 hour weeks and working both days over the weekend, I think they owe me more holiday!

(But I'd be happy to settle for one day in June!)

In fact I feel a terrible migraine coming on for that day - definitely won't be able to go to school.   Evil Grin
