For flags try these people, highly recommended:

The Commodore I/C of the Waveney Flotilla is:- Jenny Morgan (Peter)
Craft:- Jenny Morgan. Happy to pick up two passengers who fancy an open boat ride.

Jenny Morgan,
A vane, a boat, but not a bird.
The Broads is NOT a National Park.

The Admiral, seen here in Beccles today, will lead the fleet!

Induced camera shake to help hide his identity! Or more likely it was a grab shot as we passed by & the auto focus had not had time to hit the mark, I had a 50mm macro lens on!

If I could find my sail material - sorry GC I never found it the other month, then I would be happy to make one, I am sure I haven't forgotten my sewing skills from the 1970s when I used to make code flags etc

Tell me the size though - I would have to check I have enough white

Hang on a minute!!!!

Have just realised that I was moored next to the Boss's boat in Oulton YS on Wednesday night.  I clocked the flag but didn't think anymore of it cos there was no sign of life.  But of course, it all makes sense now, he must have been wandering the streets of Oulton wailing about the loss of the Commodore!!!     Evil Grin

Griff - much as I would love to Cruise in company and boost the Waveney contingent, I'm afraid I will be stuck in school all day.  Frown

Although I do hope to drive up to Ranworth on the Saturday.    Smile

I have already had two p.m's from people from elsewhere asking if they could join the Waveney Convoy. Great idea, it will allow folk to see more of the Broads than they might otherwise. You can mudweight off the end of my garden on the Thursday evening, be ferried ashore for a barby, if there is sufficient demand, and watch the speedboats.

I think there is also a good opportunity for press releases/publicity - an aerial photo of Salhouse would be fun as well. Video footage, you name it - it could be done plus sponsorship for the forum
