My dear Miss Leigh, looking forward to meeting you.

Right first off Miss Leigh it is 'M A C I E' not Masie.  I have got my Lord and master nearly as well trained as I am. He is well versed in taking me out for the last walk of the evening no matter how late or what the weather and plenty of free time outside during the day as I please too.  He is also rather good in 'B.A's 'Tender To' either by oar or the outboard so fear ye not.

I have attached a photo of myself along with himself during a recent day out doing what I do best, well I would do if he didn't miss so many of em!

Regards Macie - Golden Retreiver with large Orange Lifejacket.

Right then back on topic after a suitable drifting off (Don't you just love em?)

I'll be bringing 'Tender Too' our dinghy complete with outboard, she will be available for one and all to use as required.

Gary and Clair have pm'd me and stated they will also have a tender availble for all and sundry to use.

I'll update the original post again with regards to staithe berthing, there will be some available after Albion has departed for Ludham.

There will be staithe moorings available overnight for those that want them up to a point. More on this later.

Fidear45 - Your offer of a Belgian beer sampling is too good to miss and it would be rude to refuse indeed!
I can foresee there being issues with the dog walking last thing at night as a result. I once years ago in Brugge had the delights of a brewery visit, my favourite was 'Brugge Triple' can't seem to recall leaving the brewery that afternoon either, let alone getting back onboard the ship (HMS type)

Macie, the chagrin!  I am mortified that I got your name wrong.  Were it not for my beautiful black and tan fur I would be puce with embarrassment.

Your working pictures are marvelous Macie.  I do a different kind of job but attach a picture in my uniform.

I'm really looking forward to meeting you!

Hello Slaves and fellow canines, I will be coming to Norfolk my second visit i was six months old last time and will be bringing male slaves daughter s dog aslong for company. I am 5 how the years have passed and i am a very handsome (female slaves comments)black and tan Rottweiller, i don't bite, but will lick you and will do most things for a treat. My freind Jack is a Dogue de Bordeaux who was rehoused due to abuse so is cautious of people and he drools a lot, we were looking at these water based moving things and wondered can't we use the poop deck? Otherwise we too will need a land based walkie, bye for now

Diesel.

Dear Griff.

Here are the descriptions of the beer we intend to have available.

Leffe Blonde 6.6%, Brown 6.5%(dark beer)and Tripel 8.4%(a lip numbing drink with a lemony after taste) and finally Leffe Blue 9%.

It seeems you have already "done the Tripel", in which case I will reserve the blue for you! It is a further 0.6% than the Tripel and in my opinion is evil. I have sipped at one a few times but cant bring myself to do the whole thing.

My first ever exposure to these beverages was a few years ago now on a business trip and I remember thinking while my knees were buckling that I hadn't had that much to drink"!

I will stick to leffe blonde or something light so as to avoid all possibilities for embarassment that the subsequent falling overboard would entail. I have bathed in Salhouse in the past but not with a glass of beer in my hand.

I also make it a rule never to try and keep up with an ex Matelot when it comes to alcoholic beverage sampling.

Life is too short

Dear  Woofer friends my slave can't wait to see Rottie into dinghy aided and abbetted by slave after Belgian beer.. U tube here we come.
My slaves are leaving us with all my friends at our holiday home in the forrest. Nos fidelos amis- they call it a kennel, too big for a house if you ask me.

We have lots of Rottie friends there (mums, dads and annoying pups)

Scooby, Boots (I'm a girl) and Buster

The Cruise in Company seems good fun, I would have liked to participate in the NBF Meet, but all these posts about “comfort breaks”, “sniffs”, “ablutions” and “land based walkies” are rather off-putting. Has a “dog toilet” area been set aside, or is it just a free-for-all? Presumably some families have young children - will the dogs be kept on a leash and muzzled?

I don’t particularly dislike dogs, but many of their owners seem to have developed a rather subjective sense of smell and hearing (a wet dog does stink, if it scratches it’s got fleas or some other problem, and its bark is more annoying than a diesel generator, which is at least turned off during the night), I’ve trodden in one t*rd too many, and I recall that it wasn’t a Pit Bull that ripped apart the little Welsh kiddie a couple of years ago, but an uncontrollable JRT.
