Me either. Taking Southern Horizon for a week from Horizoncraft at Acle - will look out for you!

First experience of a forward drive too, had a few of the centre cockpits in the past - hear they're not so easy to handle. But to get through Potter Heighem we needed one of these craft.

Hi Me3000, having driven lots of boths styles you wont have any big issues with it being forward control, apart from reversing to stern on mornings, I had Crystal Gem a few years ago, handled really well, the good thing not badly affected by wind!!! we will look out for you, we are hoping to get up to Beccles at some point but will be on the northern rivers for most of the week!
Cheers
Rob

me3000 - I don't wish to sound unduly pessimistic, but at the moment river levels are as high as I've seen them since last winter. Things may change in the next fortnight, but if they don't, I wouldn't fancy your chances of getting under Potter bridge with any hire cruiser, forward steer or otherwise.
