Hey all

Down next week for a week on Swan Rapier

Quick question please:

Is it adviseable to go north of the island on Barton
Broad before swinging to port to go down Lime Kiln Dyke
?

Or can we cut accross south of the island?

Thank you in advance

Jon

You can go either side of the island.  Just stay clear of Turkey Broad (the large area of open water on the left just after you enter the broad), which is very shallow - but is well marked, as are the channels everywhere on Barton.

Thanks BB

I seem to remember we could see the reeds poking out the
water just as you enter the broad, but was'nt sure just
how far the shallows lasted.

Thanks again

Jon
