Saw this chap swimming merrily along with a host of Greylag geese.   Can someone explain what a Canada Goose is doing mingling with all this lot.   Is he a cross breed, didnt think that geese would cross breed with another species.

One suggestion that has been made is that the Canadian Goose egg was abandoned and someone placed the egg in the G/Lags nest and it was reared with all the others.

Reminds me of one those cartoons where there is a bear with a target board on its chest. Think it says 'bummer of a birth mark'.

Well that goose is target practise to my mind.
