I would be interested in using the new Cantley slipway this year. Does anybody have any news regarding who to pay, the cost, parking availability, and most of all, security of the site.

Trailers etc. do go missing and insurance companies do tend to wriggle out of claims if proper care is not taken as to where you leave them.

Any updates from regulars would be much appreceiated.

Many thanks.

Alan

Cheers Griff.

I hope to be up there the week after next so the info would be much appreciated. I intend to slip in either there or Burgh St Peter and potter the lower Broads and then trailer around to the upper Broads.

Regards.

Alan.

Alan,

As far as I am aware the slipway is completed and ready to go BUT:

Someone who has the final say has insisted that, until the grass has grown satisfactorily, the slipway shall remain closed.

Earliest date for it opening is around September. Just great. Its been ready since May.

Gary.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps I will use it in my second visit this year.

Regards.

Alan.
