Hi Dawnnorman, You can launch at Potter Heigham, there a slipway next to the Pilots building, I think its still free. If you want the river Yare there is one at Rockland staith,it used to be about £2.00. hope thats of help.

Slips at Thurne, Potter, Repps, Hickling, Martham....to name but a few.

Some charge, some ask for a donation and some are FOC.

Norfolk Broads Slipways

Griffin Marine Griffin Lane Norwich. Slip and Parking. River Yare.

John Broom Boats Brundall Slip and Parking River Yare (May need checking as site is being developed)

Brundall Bay Marina Riverside Estate Brundall. Slip and Parking. River Yare.

Reedham Ferry. Reedham. Next to Pub and Ferry. Slip and Parking. River Yare.

Waveney River Centre. Burgh St Peter. River Waveney (May need checking as haven’t used for a long while) Pub, Slip and Parking.

Richardsons Stalham. Slip and Parking. River Ant.

Sutton Staithe Sutton. Slip and Parking. Contact Sutton Staithe Boatyard River Ant Small boats.

Horning Village Next to Swan Pub. Public Slip Information from general store nearly opposite. Small Boats. Not sure where you leave car and trailer but Pay and Display Car Park close by. River Bure.

Wroxham Broad. The Avenue Wroxham. Car Park next to sailing club. Used to be a natural slip gravel and sand. Nice spot. OK for small boats. Parking. Wroxham Broad.

Moores of Wroxham Staitheway Road. Slip and Parking. River Bure.

Whispering Reeds Boat Yard Hickling Broad. Slip and Parking. Small boats only.

Charges vary. I have paid anything from nothing to about £20 and also if you want to just launch or launch, recover and parking. I call a small boat as a boat up to about 15 foot that can be manhandled without car by a couple of people. I have launched 18 foot cruiser at Brundall Bay and Moores of Wroxham and a bilge keel Pirate at Richardsons Stalham. As far as I am aware all the above are still operational but some slips are only available during working hours and if the boat yard isn’t using them.

Repps staithe is free and is fine for a 12 footer. Please don't park on the staithe, there is plenty of room in Staithe Road.
