Richard we love the BROADS as much as you, we also like our weekends on the FENS so we expect in the fullness of time to have a ,cooking on the fens.menu .no rush though as it is all slow up here in NORFOLK. regards roya.

ok - now this is really weird - that's the third request I've had in a month about Norfolk cooking (as opposed to boat cooking). It is a very interesting subject as there are a number of local dishes that are very unique to fens area. I'm thinking mainly of those meals that use a slow heat (using peat rather than wood in the stove).

I'll stick it on my list of winter projects !

Cheers, but be carefull,they do say in FELAND that there are still Canibals in them marshes.and you may find some gruesome recipes.cheers for now,
