Just thought I'd say Hi from Fleet Dyke. I was supposed to be cleaning the boat today, but with this gorgeous sunshine I couldn't resist getting out on the water! I did give the decks a cursory scrub when I moored up, but now I'm sitting in the sunshine in absolute peace hopefully making those of you that are stuck land-side feel a bit jealous! Steve.

Vodafone broadband Roy. I get 3gb of data per month and as an existing Vodafone customer I get it for £6 odd a month. Around here I'm not getting broadband speeds, but I've got a good GPRS connection at the moment. A bit slow, but good enough for this stuff. Steve. I know me pointy end from me blunt end! edited for the effects of wine on my typing!

Hi Steve ,like you we were in Fleet Dyke today (we moor there ) ,but had work to do unfortunately.Every season we had got close to replacing the batteries but they got us through ,but this year we have fitted new ones today and joy of joy a few turns of the starter and she burst into life, such nice a feeling ,we had a BMC 1500 on one of our boats and she would not start at all spent ages checking every thing only to find the cable had seized and the decompression valve was not sealing properly .Freed it up and hay presto life at last.Cleaning we've saved for next week, cant have all the pleasure in one go!.
Roy and Diane Hope to see you on the river,
