Due to cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

No edit, Gary. Thread just re-made into a 'sticky'

Hi Gary

One for me so far (the 1st Jan), spent 4 or 5 hours aboard checking, cleaning, and generally loafing about.

1 more if you can add this as I was fitting a new heater to Tuppence - Leigh and Christina - had to do it in the moorings as again was iced over.

Hi Gary one for me New Years Day went from Thurne to Stokesby. Moored up at Stokesby had a lunch of soup and cheese and biscuits, then into the pub for a couple of sherberts. Then back to Thurne. Brilliant way to start the day Only one very slight thing was it was on a stinky.
Cheers tounge-in-cheek

The next best thing to sailing is getting ready to go

Just got back from another 1 day.

Saw two boats only.   Cant say I blame any one for not being out about.

One for me please Gary - largely spent cleaning out bilges!. I thought I'd be able to lift the frozen cr*p out, but it was still liquid, so I had to pump it into a bucket
